"Strengthening the International Law of Global Security, Peace and Development" Workshops

The world is facing unprecedented, complex and interconnected challenges. With increasing violence due to armed conflicts, terrorism and violent extremism, deepening socio-economic fragility and inequality, massive flows of refugees, climate change, and the development of new technologies like cyber technologies and Artificial Intelligence, the contemporary world order appears to be increasingly destabilized.

It is increasingly acknowledged, including by the United Nations, states and civil societies, that such challenges to global security, peace and development cannot be addressed singularly.

DMN Initiative - SDGs Council - DMN Foundation stands for PEACE and wants to enhance SDGs Goal 16: Promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies.

Therefore, DMN plans to kick-off a series of workshops on "Strengthening the International Law of Global Security, Peace and

Development" in mid-2023.

Having joined this valuable workshop, you will have (i) the tools to address global security challenges in a range of areas, (ii) the knowledge to discuss the role of international law in a global security landscape, (iii) a solid grounding in diverse areas of international law and (iv) multi-disciplinary skills in international law international relations international economics and sustainability.
