His Excellency Mr. Dao Manh Nghia, President of DMN Initiative - SDGs Council - DMN Foundation, led a Senior Delegation that paid a visit to ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN Foundation on 22 May 2023.
The DMN President was accompanied by Mrs. Nguyen Le Thoai Vy - Member of Standing Committee of DMN Foundation, Ms. Pham Ngoc Nhat Phuong - DMN Ambassador in Viet Nam, Ms. Malika Dwi Puspita - DMN Observer in Indonesia and Ms. Diva Devina Dewanto - DMN Observer in Indonesia.
H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Nghia met with Mr. Lee Yoong Yoong – Director of Community Affairs Directorate, Mr. Andhie Novien D. Ananta - Outreach Officer of Community Relations Division at the ASEAN Secretariat, as well as Mr. Caleb Benjamin Hukom - Partnership Development and Resource Mobilisation Officer of ASEAN Foundation.
They discussed potential collaboration in the areas of education and youth, culture and arts, SDGs as well as other areas that would further promote greater interest and understanding of ASEAN around the world.
H.E. Mr. Dao Manh Nghia emphasised the importance of joint collaboration between DMN Initiative - SDGs Council - DMN Foundation, ASEAN Secretariat, ASEAN Foundation, Entities and other stakeholders in supporting ASEAN Community building efforts.
